I had the chance to try out the latest Windows 7 Build 7137 today. There have been a few subsequent releases beyond the Build 7100 released to the general public. While it is too soon to do a full evaluation, some of the install screens look more polished. Full install took only 20 minutes. IE8 seems slightly faster and more stable. This is not the Relase To Manufacturerers (RCM) that will be preloaded onto new computers for the upcoming Christmas Holiday shopping season, but is is very close. Stay tuned for the full Retail version in the coming weeks....
