Step 1: Right-click on the desktop, select New and then select Shortcut to launch Create Shortcut wizard.

Step 2: In the location box, you need to enter browser’s installation path followed by website address. For example, if you want to pin Into Windows shortcut to the taskbar and want to open open it in Internet Explorer browser, you need to type the following command:
“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” http://www.intowindows.com

Step 3: Click Next to enter a name for your shortcut and finally click Finish button to close the wizard.

Step 4: Now, simply drag and drop the shortcut to your taskbar to pin it. Click on the shortcut to launch the website in your favorite browser.
